ipolog 4 Workspace - Basic Functions: First Steps in ipolog – ipolog Helpcenter

First, here is an overview of the functions and areas of ipolog 4 Workspace.

The menu bar displays all the features for working with ipolog 4 Workspace. When hovering over an icon, the view name appears to the left of the central menu bar.

An open view is indicated by a blue icon.

If you no longer need a view, it can be closed again by clicking on the respective icon. It is recommended to close all submodules after each task in order to maintain an overview.

You can always save your progress with this button (top left).

Project Overview

Overview and selection of projects, planning spaces and scenarios
Create, select and delete scenarios for a project

Master Data

	Scenario Admin Import of a layout in which surfaces, stations and the position of linked 3D geometries are stored Import of assembly processes (Import v3 excel) Export of assembly processes and material placement as Excel Import of a production program Export of the scenario and all associated data for ipolog 4 Materialflow
	Catalog Manage, import and edit load carriers, products and surrounding area geometries (Facilities)
	Facilities All 3D geometries in the scene are displayed under Facilities. These can be moved, fixed, deleted and hidden
	Logging Error log where inconsistencies and errors in imported data are displayed

Planning Tools

	Layout Editor Create areas, stations and worker points Move and edit areas, stations, worker points and facilities
	Material-Zone Editor Move load carriers (Boxes) und shelves (Racks)
	Conveyor Editor Set the direction and speed at which a product moves across a station
	Production Program
	Select the current production program Display the order and quantity of the different products / product variants that are currently being built
	Production Flow View Compare several different scenarios with the current scenario. This makes it possible to divide an entire factory into many small scenarios and then display them in a separate one as a complete unit.
	Rack Planogram Place and move load carriers among racks
	Assembly Process Editor List of all processes Assign work points and tools to the process
	Material Provisioning Editor Adjust material in the scenario Select load carrier and rack Number of load carriers and placement direction Set the picking point Set color
	Worker Gantt Optimization tool for worker processes Display workers and their processes in a Gantt chart Display worker workloads Move processes between workers and change process order

View

Selection Display

Display of detailed information about the currently selected object, as well as the object under the mouse pointer.

Filter Set

Narrows the current view. Products, stations and workers can be shown and hidden here.

Analysis

	Colorizer Highlights layout elements in color for evaluation purposes, e.g. coloring areas according to utilization.
	Reporting Overview of complete worker utilization, productive and non-productive times, as well as walking paths.
	Time Distance Diagram Diagram showing how much distance the currently selected worker has covered up to a certain point in time. If no worker is selected, the view is empty.
