ipolog 4 Workspace Planning Adventure - Project Background

Congratulations, you have been nominated for promotion as Production Planning Team Leader at E-Race GmbH, which specializes in the production of electric vehicles. You are currently in a talent pool and a new project is coming your way in which you can demonstrate your skills.

Your new task is to redesign production (focus: assembly and logistics) with the aim of increasing economic efficiency. The existing assembly line must be optimized and made more efficient. Due to the high complexity, your company has decided to use the ipolog 4 Workspace software. ipolog 4 Workspace is a tool that helps with assembly and material supply planning and optimization. The capacity utilization of employees also needs to be taken into consideration.

Your colleagues have already started planning the project, so you will find a good foundation for further work on the project. Your task is the completion as well as the subsequent optimization of the project.

Over the course of the project, you will learn the essential features of the ipolog planning software. The successful completion of the project will increase your chances of being considered for promotion.

After completing the project, you will have become familiar with the following planning tasks and the associated features in the ipolog 4 Workspace software and completed the first independent steps in the software:

• Layout planning
• Material planning
• Process planning and optimization
• Simulation, evaluation & optimization

Before you can start with the ipolog 4 WS simulation, you need to register. To register, you will need a token, which you will receive from your ipolog contact in the form of a link.

If you do not yet have this access data, please contact your ipolog contact person or register for the first time at https://www.ipolog.ai/en/the-software/ipolog-free-training/.

After you have clicked on the link, you can register with your name and e-mail and create a login password.

You will then receive a verification email. Please click on the link in the email to confirm your registration. Now you are ready to go and can immediately begin your ipolog 4 WS planning adventure.

After a brief introduction to the structure and basic operation of the software, you can start planning.

You will receive your ipolog access with all project data from your ipolog contact person.
