Worker simulation - tool pick-up

In the worker simulation of ipolog you can simulate the picking and placing process for tools. The entire process can be stored in ipolog using the Rule Based Table Editor.

If a tool has been assigned to a AVO, it is taken up before the work process is executed and then stored again.

A small example to explain this:

The example shows three operations that require the "SCANNER (Handscanner)" tool. The first two operations follow directly one after the other, the third one later.

Accordingly, before the first operation "G30MP-21827" the tool is fetched and after the second operation "G30MP-21828" the tool is put down again.

Later, before the "G30MP-21831" operation, the tool is picked up again and then stored again.

For each tool, a working point is automatically created on the worker's area which executes the operation requiring the tool.In the example, the operations with the tool "SCANNER (Handscanner)" are carried out by the operator "V1" at the station BMVFE-00-F01. Accordingly, an operating point "TP-SCANNER (Handscanner) [BMVFE-00-F01-V1]" was automatically created in the center of the area assigned to operator "V1".

Toolpick points

It is possible to select another working point for picking up or depositing the tool instead of the automatically created working point.

To do this, create a workpoint in the layout editor and set its name in the "Rule based Table Editor" in the operation.

In the example a working point "MeinToolpoint" is created in the layout editor and assigned to the operations in the "Rule based Table Editor".

Accordingly, the operator runs in the simulation to pick up or store the tool at the working point "MeinToolpoint".

Toolpick Groups

With the toolpick groups you can define that all tools for the operations belonging to the toolpick group are included before the first operation of the group and are stored again after the execution of the last operation of the group.

In the example, the toolpick group "TPG1" has been assigned to all three operations.

As a result, the "SCANNER..." tool is picked up before the first operation and stored again after the third operation.
