The Excel spreadsheet is one of the most important basics for working with ipolog 4 Workspace. The table contains all information about the work processes, the materials used and the workers.
New columns can be added to the existing columns at any time. However, these columns are not taken into account in ipolog.
The Worksheet "Zuordnung"
The sheet "Zuordnung" consists of different information, which ipolog uses for visualization and calculation.
Depending on the information contained, the columns are highlighted in different colors.

Material |
The lines of the table all contain an working cycle (AVO) or a material. Four different cases can occur in the rows:
- AVO and material: The material is assigned to this AVO, which means that material is fetched from this AVO and then installed.
- AVO and no material: The AVO is created and no material is used.
-
no AVO and material: The material is assigned to the AVO above it
- Alternative: If, for example, a worker or process is to be filtered, the materials without AVO are not displayed in this case. To solve this problem, all process information of the corresponding AVO can be copied to the rows.
- no AVO and no material: Such a line is ignored.
Generally applies: If the same worker (i.e. same station and same worker) in the same variant has another AVO in a line above it, this is the predecessor AVO.
The columns of the worksheet "Zuordnung"
Note: The column names must remain the same (german), so that ipolog can read the Excel spreadsheet correctly. In the following, the English translation is also given for the column names
Column name | Translation | Nötig für die Materialanstellung | Description |
Station | Area | x | Name of the station. The assignment of a station is mandatory in order to be able to illustrate workers. |
Outside Corner | outside corner | Not to be filled in.
Werker | worker | x | Name of the worker. To depict several workers at a station, they must have different names. |
Werker-Typ | worker type | Not to be filled in - Internal system type.
Produkt | product | x | Single product or variants - or several variants separated by commas and without spaces (e.g. variant1,variant2,...). |
Prozess | process | Higher-level process name of several AVOs.
AVO | working cycle | x | AVO - must have a unique name, but may occur more than once in certain cases (see alternative case 3 above). The processing sequence begins with the first line and then continues line by line. |
AVO-Beschreibung | working cycle - description | Description of the AVO
Dauer Min [s] | time duration minimum [s] | Minimum possible duration in seconds (optional).
Dauer Max [s] | time duration maximum [s] | x | Duration of the process in seconds. |
Anordnung | arrangement | Arrangement of the worker on the station - left or right.
Arbeitsposition | operating position | Operating position on the product. The AVO is performed at this operating position.
Werkzeug | tool | Tool used - causes a tool breakpoint to be created that is taken into account in the path calculation.
AVO-Regeln | operation rules |
AVO rules are used to determine the validity of an AVO for a specific product in the production program. They correspond to the code rules of an order in the production program. More about this here: Provisioning requirements.
Multiple product variants (codes) are separated by commas and without spaces. If the column is empty, the associated process is executed for every product. |
|
Synchronisationspunkt | point of synchronization | The point of synchronization allows several workers to perform the same AVO at the same time. They are synchronized to the start time, i.e. they wait for each other. The material retrieval is independent of this.
Material | material | x | Material/item number. |
Materialbezeichnung | material description | Name of the material.
MaterialSequenz | material sequence | Sequenced combination of several materials in one container - unique designation. The same container type must be defined for these materials.
Materialfläche | material area | Name of the material area. If the material is placed at the corresponding station, an "L" for the left material area and an "R" for the right material area can be entered.
Teile-Regeln | part rules | Rules for parts for specific variants/code rules, which are only used for certain codes in the AVO Rules column. If the column is empty, the material is retrieved for each AVO rule or product.
Regal-Typ | rack type | Rack type designation. The rack must be available in the catalog.
Regal-Name | rack name | Unique designation for a rack. Can be edited in workspace.
Regal-Fach | rack shelf | Optional - is otherwise calculated automatically by IPO.Log.
Bay | rack bay | The exact bay in a rack this material belongs to. Can be edited via common data or in the rack instance editor.
Behälter-Typ | box type | x | Box designation. If the box does not exist in the catalog, IPO.Log creates a generic box if the box dimensions are specified. |
LT/LE | LC/LU | Loading carrier or loading unit.
Behälter-Farbe | box color | Optional - as HTML color code.
Breite [mm] | box width [mm] | Width of the box.
Tiefe [mm] | box length [mm] | Length of the box.
Höhe [mm] | box height [mm] | Height of the box.
Behälter-Drehung | box rotation | Rotation of the box in degrees.
Matrix BxTxH | matrix width*depth*height | Arrangement for several containers.
Behälteranzahl | number of boxes | x | Number of boxes. Cannot be edited here, must be adjusted via common data. |
Entnahmezeit [s] | pick time (sec) | Duration of the removal of a material from the box. If the field is free, a standard value of 1s is used.
Materialholungsgruppe | pick group | Several boxes are picked up together directly before the process is carried out - unique designation.
Materialholungspunkt | pick point | Specific operating point at which the material is fetched. If the field remains empty, the material is fetched at the position of the specified box.
Reichweite | range of coverage | Range of the parts of the box in cycles.
TeileInBox | parts in box | Number of parts in the box.
Stage | stage | The stage of the default supply chain this material belongs to.
TeileProModul | parts per module | Number of parts per assembly operation.
... | ... | The remaining columns are filled automatically. |
The Worksheet "Modelmix"
The "Modelmix" worksheet can be used to determine which products are to be produced. In the column "Product" the product type is defined to which the quantity to be produced is assigned in the column "Quantity". These values are taken into account when calculating the model mix.
The Worksheet "Optionen"
In the "Optionen" worksheet, settings and conditions can be defined with which ipolog shall work.
The cycle time can be entered here in seconds. In relation to this cycle time, the workload of the workers is calculated in ipolog.
In the line ProductionModel the production method is indicated. The entry Linear stands for takt production and the entry CycleStationStart for flow production. The entry CycleStationMiddle ensures flow production up to the center of the station, where the vehicle stops until the end of the cycle.
For "Produkt", a product can be specified. If there are products without 3D geometry, the 3D geometry of this product is always used.
Either Process or Storage can be entered in the line "Anstellstrategie". If the field is empty, the Process mode is used.
- Process: The process sequence is taken into account during material placement. Furthermore, the same materials are put together in the same load carriers in the same shelves. In this mode, you can plan an assembly line, for example.
- Storage: The material is placed in the Excel table according to the order. The same materials are not put together. This mode can be used, for example, to plan a supermarket.
With DefaultWorkerSpeed the walking speed (in m/s) of the worker can be set. If the field remains empty, the default value of 1 m/s is used.
The paths to the various cell libraries for the IPO.MS plug-in can be stored in the Microstation section.
In the section "Regale" the minimum distance (in mm) of racks, rack rows and boxes in the rack can be set.
With Headerlanguage, you can also set the language in which the column caption is saved in the Excel file in addition to the German language. Possible entries here are DE = German, EN = English, SE = Swedish, RU = Russian.
