Now that the prerequisites have been created with the layout and route network, it is time for the actual planning of the material flow.
Your colleagues have already planned two supply processes in the model - supply from the high-bay warehouse including route train supply to the lines, and supply from the supermarket including sequence route train to the lines.
As part of the layout planning, you have become familiar with the new concept via floor storage. Your challenge is now to extend the model to include this area and to plan a suitable standard supply process for it and integrate it into the model.
Furthermore, a standard supply chain has already been started by your colleagues for the pre-assembly scopes. This must now be completed by a shopping cart process with a standard bundler chain.
Finally, the disposal of the KLTs must be planned with a corresponding standard disposal chain.
In the following steps, you will learn about and carry out the basis of logistical process planning over several warehouse levels using standard process chains.
Subsequently, concrete supply chains will emerge through the allocation of material.
