5. Optimization (advanced tasks)

You have successfully displayed the state of your planning factory in ipolog 4 Material Flow. Next, your goal is to identify and evaluate potential for improvement. 

To do this, first copy your entire scenario in the start view of ipolog 4 Material Flow. To copy your entire scenario in the start view of ipolog 4 Material Flow, proceed as follows Save and close the current scenario. Select the scenario you want to copy in the scenario view. Click on the three dots to the right of the selected scenario to edit it. Give it a new name and click on 'Save As' to create a copy.

Then open your new scenario, so that you can now make changes without affecting the actual status, and then immediately compare the effects of your changes with the previous planning status by comparing the project.

Your next tasks will include optimising routes and managing direct transport groups.
