In trailer planning, you can plan trailers used in relation to their number of transported loading carriers (option 1). You also have the possibility of specifying the maximum number of trailers and the maximum area utilization for each individual route (option 2). The two options can be selected, see 1:
Option 1: Defining the maximum number of loading carriers per trailer
For trailers already imported into the software, the number of transported loading carriers can be modified.
- Select the appropriate row with the trailer to be modified.
- Switch to edit mode by double-clicking in the respective cell in the "Number of loading carriers per trailer" column. The editable field is no longer gray, but highlighted in white.
- Enter the corresponding number of loading carriers and confirm with Enter.
- Save
The "Save" button only becomes active when the input of the number of loading carriers has been confirmed by Enter.
Option 2: Defining the maximum number of trailers and the area utilization for each route
If this option is selected, all existing routes are displayed (see 1).
The maximum number of trailers can be defined for each route (see 2). This maximum number depends on the maximum number of trailers defined in Resource Management for the tugger type assigned to the route.
On the right all the trailers that have been imported in Resource Management are displayed. For each trailer you can define the maximum usage of the trailer area (see 3).
If this function is activated, it is taken into account in the transport calculation.
