In the Supply Chain Editor it is possible to view the area utilisation. Here you can see that the route stations are differently utilised and that "Rout_Station_01" is even overloaded.
Tip: Use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.
Since the layout planning has already been completed and a redimensioning of the areas is no longer possible, a redistribution of materials is recommended. A sensible division of the logistical processes could be based on the downstream areas. All parts that are transported from the route train station to the supermarket and to pre-assembly pass through route train station one. The parts that are transported directly to the assembly line should be transported exclusively via route train station two.
Therefore, rearrange the components that are transported from the route train station straight to the line, so they pass through route train station two to ensure the equitable use of space. This concerns the parts of the High-bay Warehouse default supply chain.
Use the Supply Chain Editor to select the affected parts and assign them to Route Station Two.
Tip: Use the filter system and filter the parts that previously ran on Route Station One (Route_Station_01) to assign them to the other Route Station area.
After the redistribution, review the space utilization again. Has there been a positive change in space utilization?
Save your progress.
