Material provisioning planning can be planned and optimized in ipolog 4 Workspace using several functions/tools. For example, there is the 1) Material-Zone Editor, the 2) Material Provisioning Editor and the 3) Rack Planogram.
1) Material-Zone Editor
The material zone editor makes it possible to move and select materials such as boxes and racks using drag & drop. It is also possible to rotate boxes and racks or position them at a specific angle. You can find more information about the Material Zone Editor here.
2) Material Provisioning Editor
All materials and the associated information such as the material description, the box/rack type and the material area are listed in the Material Provisioning Editor. If individual materials or entire material areas are selected in the 3D view or the Material Zone Editor, they are also automatically selected in the Material Provisioning Editor and highlighted in blue. The Material Provisioning Editor offers many options for changing the material provisioning. For example, it is possible to assign a rack to the material or change the box type. Further options and more detailed information on the Material Provisioning Editor can be found in this article.
3) Rack Planogram
The Rack Planogram gives you the option of placing boxes on racks or arranging the boxes on shelves differently. Here it is possible to select entire material areas or individual shelves. The selection can be made both in the 3D view and in the Material-Zone Editor. Further information can be found under Moving containers - Rack Planogram.
