First, an overview of the functions and areas of ipolog 4 Workspace.
The module bar shows all functions for working with ipolog 4 Workspace. If you move the cursor over an icon, the name of the view is displayed to the left of the central module bar.
1) The Scenario Admin view can be used to create individual projects and import data and workspaces. This includes, for example, the layout, the assembly processes and the production program.
2) This icon takes you to the Catalog. There you will find the load carriers, shelves, facilities and the products. Further information can be found here.
3) Here you will find the facilities: roads, walls, columns, etc.. These can also be moved and hidden here. It is also possible to change whether the Facilities also act as a blocking area here.
4) This is the logging. It is an error log that tells you exactly what problems exist.
1) Pressing Save saves the changes made. Important: it is not saved automatically!
2) Close offers the possibility to close the current scenario and return to the scenario overview.

The Material Zone Editor allows you to move and select individual materials and shelves on the material surfaces. For more information, see the article about the Material Zone Editor. | |
The Conveyor Editor is a tool to define the movement profile of product conveyance per station. You can find more info here. | |
The production program specifies how many products of each variant are built and in what order. | |
The Production Flow View allows to load/reference the planning result of another scenario from another project into the currently opened scenario. | |
The Rack Planogram shows the racks, their layout and the individual bin placements. You can find more information here. | |
The Assembly Process Editor displays the existing process information in tabular form. By changing certain parameters, the execution of the processes can be changed. | |
The Material Provisioning Editor shows all processes in detail. These can also be adjusted directly here (worker, material, work points,...). You can find more information here. | |
The Worker Gantt shows the processes of each worker and offers the possibility to move them. This is essential for process optimization. You can find more information here. | |
The TagList Editor offers the possibility to locate working points and areas in the layout and to change their nature. | |
This is the Animation Control. In it you can start and pause the simulation. You can find more information here. | |
In the Selection Display you can see detailed information about selected elements. | |
The filter set shows a selected display of individual workers and products. You can find more information here. | |
The colorizer provides a good overview of the assembly line. It visualizes in color, for example, which worker picks up which material or which material is assigned to which product. | |
Reporting provides an overview of complete worker utilization, as well as productive and non-productive time and walking distances. | |
Time Distance Diagram displays the time-distance relationship of a worker's activities. | |

In the Worker Status the worker activities are displayed in real time. |

Window view
An open view is marked with a blue icon.
If you no longer need a view, it can be closed by clicking on the respective icon again.
If you want to save the window configuration, you can enter a name in this field and press the plus. There are already suggested window configurations. If you want to delete a window configuration, you should press the minus button and select the window configuration to be deleted.
