Important information for using boxes and racks In the path, the dimensions of length and width / width and depth of e.g. boxes were changed. This setting was done by users so we can not change them automatically. |
Important information for the feature “renew placement on selected area” If you want to do a replacement on the selected material area, please use the feature for relayout/ replace elements in material zone editor. If the option relayout selection is selected, the placement algorithm of ipolog 4 Workspace is started. |
ipolog Web-Views
- In the planning state for common boxes all containers can be selected at once to change box attributes. All selected areas can be edited once, deleted or exported. There is also the option to deselect single boxes or all boxes can be selected at once.
- The multiselect option for containers allows also to switch box width and box depth. So the dimensions can be changed by one click. Also the box geometry will be changed according the change box width and box depth.
- For the licence management view, the title bar was changed to the colour grey to distingusih between the licence management view and the planning options of ipolog.
Known issues:
-
Revisions of scenarios can not be opened.
- If big scenarios can not be reimported, you can contact our support team. It will be a pleasure for us to support you.
- The multiselection for containers is currently not available for the attributes weight, maximal loading weight, stacking factor and the box type.
Solved issues:
- During the loading of a scenario no other scenario can be loaded in parallel.
- Racks, that had a negative depth, are updated during the import to the correct setting. For existing racks, there is a hint.
-
Während des Ladens eines Szenarios kann nicht mehr ein weiteres Szenario gleichzeitig geladen werden.
New features in ipolog 4 Material Flow
-
In resource management but also in the other views of ipolog 4 Material Flow we changed the naming of container dimensions to width, depth and height to be consistent.
-
More adaptions:
-
In the example data the geometry of the resource "Regalwagen 1" was adapted.
-
We updated the version of OpenSSL to version 1.1.1u
-
Known issues:
-
In transport simulation/ route evaluation the maximal weight is not calculated correctly. There are differences in the rounding of the results.
- In several cases the error messages of (re-)importing a logistic quantity framework to not match the concrete result.
- During reimporting the logistic quantity framework the third option for grouping chains is not working correct.
-
When regenerating routes, sometimes some issues are occurring.
-
In KPI-Monitor the process time is not calculated correctly in the category logistic processes.
-
The automatic assignment of new created stoppoints to grouping chains is not correct.
-
The undo/redo history for the transport network is not functional in all cases.
-
In Production data is not update for products per day, when breaking times were added to the shift schedule or other adaptations were done.
-
The save button is not getting active when the shift schedule was imported. But the shift schedule is imported and saved, so it can be use without any issues.
- If a shift schedule is reimported, parts of the production data view will stay. This cases issues in transport simulations if no recalculation of the prodution data was triggered before.
- When adding a new tugger or direct means of transport there is a error message. We suggest to import them and not to create them in the software.
- In grouping chain editor not all columns are visible in the table at the bottom of the view.
- During discarding in view grouping chains there is a crash.
- In transport simulation there is a crash when a grouping chain has only one single stage.
- When using common racks in ipolog 4 Material Flow the geometries are sometimes shown incorrectly. This results into visualization issues in 3d view.
Solved issues:
- The consumptions of grouping chains are set correctly for the base-product calculation and for the detailed calculation if the value for parts per product is bigger than 1.
- The description of a knode is done correctly after assigning log-ids to default process chains.
- Process time elements with longer names can be imported to ipolog 4 Material Flow starting from now on.
-
In the view production data is no longer a crash when productions date without selecting a shift schedule before are generated.
New features in ipolog 4 Workspace
-
Undo/ redo for selected features in material zone editor for a faster and more efficient planning of the material placement:
-
Available for the following functions in material zone editor:
-
Fixing boxes and racks
-
Rotate boxes and racks (only single selection)
-
Align boxes and racks on placement edge
-
Move boxes and racks on the same material area
-
Move boxes and racks via x-y coordinates
-
Adding an empty rack to an area
-
-
How this features works:
- For each single action of the names functions a new entry is added to the undo/redo history. The changes can be selected or be undone in the history, which can be opened by clicking on the button next to save. They can be selected also next to the saving buttons or via the keys Strg+Y / Strg+Z.
- If one action is selected that is not included in the features set of undo/redo, there is a message for the user. This hint ca also be made invisible. If the message appears, the whole undo/redo history is cleared.
-
If the visualization of this message is deactivated, it can be activated again in the view options.
-
- In the view animation control the slider changed its style so it fits to the other style elements in ipolog.
- New filter set in ipolog:
- The filter set of ipolog was updated completely. Now it is easier to start the simulation in ipolog and to select those elements that should be visualized during the simulation. After opening a scenario all elements are shown when the simulation is started via the animation control.
-
Functionality of new filterset:
-
- Now, there are three different layers to select what should be shown in the 3D visualization:
- Station
-
Worker
-
Product
- Depending on the selection the processes and workers are shown in the 3D view.
- As a user all blue elements (single- and multiselection) can be set to visible/ invisible.
- To switch faster between the single layers, there are separate buttons for station, worker and product.
- Now, there are three different layers to select what should be shown in the 3D visualization:
- Individual created rack instances via the rack instance editor can be used several times, so they can be used more than one time. They can be selected in material provisioning editor. This improvements the time for the planning because the same instances can be used several times.
- We updated the version of OpenSSL to version 1.1.1u
Known Issues:
- On outside corner area can be some collisions when material was moved on them before and after this action the feature "layout on this area" was selected. Also the movement of boxes in the catalog via drag & drag can cause some collisions on the outside corner area.
- Revisions can not be opened currently. This results in an endless loop.
- When placing on container via drag & drop from the catalog there can be e.g. collisions in racks and they can not be placed on the floor.
- The elements on outside corner areas are not updated in the rack planogram directly. In this case, please switch between material areas or select the option to set outside corner areas to visible/ invisible.
- The boxes and racks are not always placed correctly on the material area if the z-height was adapted before on the material area.
- When changing the leading edge, the placement is partly on the outside corner area.
- Workers can walk over facilities, also when they are set to blocking.
- The rotation of boxes is not set correctly in the exported excel file (option in scenario admin view).
- On the outside corner areas there can be collisions with racks, when the replacement is triggered via the option "Renew placement".
- After adapting the number of boxes per material, rotating a box or selecting the option "push together" in rack planogram, there can be collisions.
Solved issues:
- Tools can be moved to the worker area in taglisteditor. This option is now available again.
- The time distance diagram is available after creating a new scenario without any restart.
- After editing empty racks, there is nolonger a collision with other racks.
- There is no crash anymore after changing the box count to a higher number in material provisioning editor.
- The performance when deleting empty racks was optimized.
-
In some cases the containers where placed at the origin after importing processes. This issue was solved and boxes are now placed correctly.
- Boxes that were added to a common box planning state later on, are now visualized with the correct geometry when dummy boxes were in use before.
-
The worker paths are now calculated correctly when the scenario was create via a template and the toolpoints are updated so the workers do no longer walk to the origin.
- After moving a big amount of racks from one area to another area, all racks are moved and no longer empty racks stay on the material area from which they were moved.
- In the rack planogram some crashes occurred - all of them are solved.
-
The rotation of boxes in the rack planogram is now possible to any point in time.
-
There are no longer any collisions after reimporting the process and placement excel file between single racks.
- After reopening a scenario, no longer racks are shown as modified, except those racks that differ to the racks from the selected rack planning state of the scenario.
- The visibility of outside corner areas stays also after moving material in rack planogram.
- In Material Zone Editor the number of boxes stays the same if ti was moved via the yellow racktangle.
-
There is no longer a crash after the option "box by product" and "box by product combination" was selected in the colorizer.
