When importing the logistics quantity framework, errors may occur that prevent an import into ipolog 4 Material Flow.
Such an error message can look like the following:
This screenshot shows two errors that prevent an import into the software:
- Missing Load Carrier ID
- Missing Loading Unit-ID
To import the logistics quantity framework into the software, however, it is essential that the resources load carriers and load units have already been imported.
It should be noted here that the Load Carrier IDs and Loading Unit-IDs stored in the Logistics Quantity Framework correspond to the Load Carriers and Loading Units stored in Resource Management
You do not have this match if you receive this error message.
You should therefore first import resources into the software. Further information can be found here: Importing Resources.
Calculated laoding unit/ carrier weight is bigger than the permitted
The screenshot shows the following two errors:
- The weight of the parts in the container exceeds the permissible load weight of the loading carrier.
- The weight of the parts on a load unit exceeds the permissible load weight of the loading unit.
The prerequisite for successful import of the Logistics Quantity Framework (LQF) is that the total load weight minus the weight (empty weight of the container) must not be exceeded.
Depending on the application and boundary conditions, the following solutions can be found:
- Checking the part weight
- Inspection of parts per loading carrier or parts per loading unit
- Checking the weights and weight restrictions of the imported container
- Selection of another container
Further information on the calculation can be found here under the heading "Load carrier and load unit weight".
Percentage value is over 100
In this case, the value entered in the LQF is greater than the maximum allowed value.
For the successful import of the logistics quantity framework, the assembly rate and the supplier rate must be less than or equal to 100%.
"Duplicate on rows"
To correct this error, refer to the error report in the "Info" column. The rows containing duplicate values are displayed here. In the logistics quantity framework, the duplicates must now be resolved. No LMG with multiple identical LOG IDs can be imported.
