Using Part Data in your scenario

Since Version 4.5.0 has been implemented, the project structure in the portal has changed accordingly and with it the possibilities in ipolog 4 Material Flow and ipolog 4 Workspace.

In addition to the familiar resources “Boxes” and “Racks”, it is now also possible to import or create and manage “Part Data”. Similar to the logistics quantity framework, Part Data are datasets of the parts that are used in your project. See what such a dataset can look like here.

The Part Data from the Common Data can be utilized by both modules simultaneously. This common database makes it possible for changes in stage planning to be noticed directly in material flow planning and for corresponding adjustments to be made.

Once you have created or imported Part Data in the Common Data, you can assign it to your scenarios:

The stored part data is therefore available for all planning spaces in this scenario and can be assigned via the ruleset.
