Fly Mode (Default)
- Left mouse button: A singular click highlights an object. Double-clicking on a surface or object zooms in.
- Right mouse button: Holding down the right mouse button allows you to move the screen.
- Scroll-wheel: Scrolling with the scroll-wheel moves the view in the direction of the mouse pointer or away from it. Holding down the scroll-wheel rotates the view horizontally and tilts it vertically.
- Spacebar: Use the spacebar to move upward.
- W, A, S, D keys: The W, A, S, and D keys are used for horizontal movement in your project. Press W to move forward, S to move backward, A to move left, and D to move right.
- Q, E keys: Press Q to move downward. Press E to move upward.
Walk Mode
- Left mouse button: A singular click highlights an object. Double-clicking on a surface or object zooms in and switches back to Fly Mode. Holding down the left mouse button rotates the view horizontally and tilts it vertically.
- Right mouse button: Holding down the right mouse button rotates the view horizontally and tilts it vertically.
- Scroll-wheel: Holding down the scroll-wheel rotates the view horizontally and tilts it vertically.
- W, A, S, D keys: The W, A, S, and D keys are used for horizontal movement. Press W to move forward, S to move backward, A to move left, and D to move right.
There are also modules in the module bar that you can use to customize the view:
1. View from top changes the current view to a bird's eye view, which shows you the entire planning area from above.
2. toggles between Walk Mode and Fly Mode. In fly mode, you can move freely through your project. In Walk Mode, you must first select a point in your project from which you want to start. The height selection and the toggle to return to fly mode thus appear in the module bar:
The height selection can be switched between centimeters (cm) and inches (in).
You can adjust the height by scrolling with the scroll wheel on the height selection. You can also simply click on the height value with the left mouse button and then enter a desired height using the keyboard. It is also possible to adjust the size by clicking and holding the left mouse button on the height value and moving the mouse to the left (smaller) or to the right (taller).
