Deactivating the 3D scene for the entire project

New function as of Release 2019-10 (Valid as of 4.10.2019)

ipolog now offers the possibility to display the 3D scene on weaker laptops.

This means that no text is displayed in the 3D scene. That saves graphic cards resources.

This can be adjusted during login. By default, the text is not displayed, thus supporting simpler laptops.

In order to deactivate the 3D scene in ipolog, the software is currently available via the Windows console.

To do this, it is best to start the Windows console directly in the ipolog installation folder:

Enter "cmd" in the grey bordered area of the screenshot.
This will open the Windows console.

Now write the following into the console:

For you again the text you have to enter to start ipolog without the 3D scene: IPO.Log_4_MF.exe --no-3D-scene

Afterwards IPO.Log 4 Material Flow opens as usual, but there is no possibility to activate the 3D scene here, because it is completely deactivated for the user by starting it with this command line parameter since the start time.

You will also notice that you have successfully deactivated your 3D scene because it is no longer found in the module bar.

By deactivating the 3D scene, however, no visualization of the transports in the transport simulation is possible.

If you want to activate the 3D scene again with ipolog 4 Material Flow, close the application. The software will then be opened normally without the Windows console.
