Undo / Redo
The Undo/Redo function allows you to undo changes in your planning space or restore changes that have been undone. The “down arrow” icons next to the “right arrow” and “left arrow” icons also allow you to view the change history of the undone changes or the restored changes. Selecting a change listed there restores the associated state of your planning space.
Another option to use this function is via the keys Ctrl + Z (undo change) or Ctrl + Y (redo change).
If two users work together in the same planning space, the users can only undo/redo the changes they did on their own. Not the changes from other users. -
Central search bar
The central search bar can be used to search for all elements (surfaces by name and type, box types, parts by name, Log-ID and number, and racks by name and type). Found elements are left in their original color in the 2D view, while the remaining elements are shaded out.
The right sidepanel displays information about the elements you are searching for. Select an element to display additional information.

Hide/Show right sidepanel
This button allows you to expand and collapse the side panel on the right. The side panel displays useful context-sensitive information, such as when selecting a rack. More on this in the following section.
Right side-panel
The side-panel on the right is used whenever additional information is required. Depending on the context, different types of information are provided. These include:
Selecting a material
In this example, the material “00000002_screws M8_Station_03_MR” was selected, as can be seen in the headline.
The information provided for this material includes the part number, the part name, the material area it is located in, the rack it is located in (in this case, none), the template name of the rack in which it is located, the box type in which it is located, the number of boxes in which it is stored, the empty weight of the box in which it is located, and the specified box matrix for the part.
There is also the option to “ Pin Box Position ” to pin the box containing the part to its current location in the 2D view.
Selecting a rack
The title bar shows you the material area on which the rack is located, as well as the rack template and options relating to the rack. For example, you can leave the rack permanently displayed in the side panel or, by selecting the “three dots” icon, edit the name of the rack, move it to the area retainer, or delete the rack.
The main area shows a 2D view of the rack from the front by default.
This allows you to see at a glance how high the utilization of the rack (“Utilized rack space”) and the utilization of the displayed side of the rack (“Used leading space") is.
Below this, there are additional options, such as switching the side of the shelf being viewed or aligning all containers on the shelf to the left or right.
The shelves and important information about them are listed at the bottom of the side panel.
More information about racks in the side panel can be found here: Rack in the side panel.
Selecting a material area
The name of the material area is displayed at the top of the title bar.
Directly below this are two KPI evaluations that provide information about the currently used material area and its leading edge.
This is followed by a 2D bird's-eye view of the material area. This view shows all the racks and parts placed on it. By clicking on individual elements, detailed information about the respective object can be displayed.
Below the 2D view, you will find further information about the selected material area and the material located on it.
More information about material areas in the side panel can be found here: Material areas in the side panel.
Other cases
The side panel is used both when selecting the resource list and when using the search bar and Rack Optimizer. Learn more about the Rack Optimizer here: Rack Optimizer.
