To transfer your existing placement planning - including all racks and boxes as well as the positions of the boxes in the racks - to ipolog web view, you must first save and publish the latest version of your planning space in ipolog Workspace. Selecting the “Trigger Migration” button will then synchronize the placement planning with ipolog web view.
The data state can then be accessed via the portal. This requires the use of a web browser such as Edge or Chrome.
Saving, publishing and migrating your data state
Open the desired planning area in ipolog Workspace and select “Save & Publish” or first "Save" and then “Publish.” [1]
Once the data has been saved and published, select “Trigger Migration” to initiate the transfer of your placement planning to ipolog web view. [2]
A transfer is only possible if all relevant resources (e.g., racks) to be transferred are included in the common data of the scenario.
Please note: If you select “Trigger Migration” again, the data state in ipolog web view will be overwritten. Only select “Trigger Migration” to transfer your data state to ipolog web view for the first time and continue working in the web.
Accessing your placement planning in the web
To access your placement planning in the web, open a web browser of your choice and enter the URL for your ipolog system. For cloud customers, this is, for example: https://plattform.ipolog.ai.
Now open the same planning space via singular left-click in the portal, and the web view will open:
Your placement planning can be continued here.
