Transfer of an existing layout to ipolog 5

To transfer your existing layout—including material areas, facilities, measurements, and info points—to the ipolog web view, all you need to do is save the latest version of your planning space in ipolog 4 Workspace.

The data from ipolog 4 Workspace is automatically synchronized with the web view and can then be accessed via the portal. For this, a web browser, such as edge or chrome are required. 

Saving the data state

Open the respective planning space in ipolog 4 Workspace and select “Save.” The layout will now be automatically transferred to the web view.

Accessing the web view of your project layout

Frist chose your favorite web browser, such as edge or chrome, and open the ipolog application in the web. ipolog Cloud users will need the url https://plattform.ipolgo.ai 
Now open the same planning area via singular left-click in the portal, and the web view will open:

Saved changes from ipolog 4 Workspace are automatically transferred to the web view.

Please note: Editing layouts on the web is possible starting from ipolog version 5.1. Until then, continue to use the “Layout Editor” and “Facilties” modules in ipolog 4 Workspace to add or edit areas or facilities. For adding info points, measurements or tags, please us the "Layout Editor" or for some cases the "Material Zone Editor".
