New functions in ipolog 4 Material Flow
-
Import of VK parameters:
-
We now offer the possibility to import different parameters in the supply chain editor, so that it is not necessary to adjust each of these parameters individually, although they are already known.
-
The following parameters can be imported: Initial stock level, reorder level and safety stock. The stocks must be specified in parts. The replenishment quantity can also be imported.
-
For the import, certain information is required, which can be found on our help page.
Please note that an LMG re-import in the Logistical Quantity Structure sub-module will overwrite the values in the supply chain in the Supply Chain Editor sub-module.

Performance:
-
We have improved the performance in the transport calculation and also made the calculation more realistic.
-
We have also significantly improved the performance in the 2D view when zooming. First performance improvements when creating elements like stops or routes in the 2D view should also be noticeable.
-
Performance improvements discovered? We are looking forward to your feedback

Further:
-
In the supply chain editor, all part families can now be shown or hidden at the push of a button.
-
In the simulation parameters of the transport calculation, there is no longer a selection available for the earliest or latest queuing time. In ipolog, we now only use the latest provision time when calculating transports.
-
In the supply chain editor we now show for each standard supply chain how far it is planned.
-
In the supply chain editor, we have a function available that shows potential problems with supply chain parameters so that they can be corrected before the order is calculated.
-
Problems solved:
-
Sometimes connections were created twice when creating the route network, which led to failure when saving the route network. But this is no longer the case in our new release version.
-
When saving the simulation parameters there is no crash in large scenarios anymore.
-
The route network can now also be created in negative x and y direction from the origin.
-
After a restart the saved path restrictions are no longer lost.
-
In the route editor we could fix the crashes after discarding them.
-
When changing supply and disposal chains the Save and Discard button becomes active again.
-
Longer Log-IDs can also be imported again via the Logistic Quantity Structure, they are no longer cut off after saving. Also they can now be imported correctly again, if a . is included in the name.
-
Transport orders have again a reason displayed in the order list if they cannot be fulfilled.
-
The forklifts are now scheduled more optimally again.
Known problems:
-
In the change history, the last changes are currently no longer completely displayed.
-
There is also a crash if forbidden means of transport remain in the disposal chain after a restart due to route restrictions. Furthermore, when activating the grouping of the means of transport types, the respective means of transport are not activated. The same behavior also occurs when using bundler chains.
-
If breakpoints have already been selected in the supply chain and new breakpoints are now assigned to the area in the "Create route network" submodule, the existing breakpoints in the supply chain are replaced by the new breakpoints at some levels.
-
After changing input parameters for the visualization of containers and shelves concerning no direct update of the 3D scene. The scene has to be closed and reopened for the update. The same applies to the parameters in the area and volume evaluation. There are also errors at the moment when hiring empties.
-
In the cost evaluation there is currently no evaluation of the shelves and containers.
-
In the KPI Monitor the area factor is not correctly taken into account. In addition, after a layout import, the area size for the layout levels is not adjusted directly. There is also no update after an LMG re-import for the logistics processes and the percentage of planned parts.
-
After deleting used transport groups, save and discard is not active. In addition, there are other errors in the sub-module group formation. For example, the correct number of orders is not displayed. There are also errors when filtering and sorting the columns. Newly created groups are not immediately visible after creating them.
-
In the supply chain editor it is possible to activate the full goods/empties exchange for disposal chains, although different workers are selected for the same means of transport type.
-
In the transport simulation the tooltip of the full good/empty exchange shows the wrong material area.
-
In the Layout Editor you can currently delete layout levels that are in use in disposal chains and bundlers.
-
Changed and discarded areas from the supply chain are sometimes entered incorrectly in the logistics quantity structure.
-
Decimal numbers for the columns Parts per Load Carrier/ per Load Unit are currently set to 0 after saving the Logistical Quantity Structure. Please import only natural numbers in these columns. The entries in the Station column are written out in the Logistic Quantity Structure as soon as the LOG-ID is used in the supply chain.
-
If process blocks contained in the standard bundling chains are now deleted, there is currently a crash when saving.
-
If direct transport means or tractors have entered 0 m/s as speed, there is a crash when calculating the transports.
-
The activation of the area and volume evaluation in the 2D view is not always completely available. In addition, for an evaluation in this view, the 3D scene must first be opened and closed again to obtain results.
-
If the shift plan has not yet been assigned to the resources, the supply chain editor currently correctly sets the status to red/undefined, but the corresponding message is currently missing.
-
Some evaluations in the KPI Monitor currently show minor calculation and update errors.
-
Changed loading and unloading times are not immediately taken into account in the transport simulation for bundler and empties transports.
-
In the transport calculation there is currently a crash if the tour duration is shorter than the longest transport process.
