Background

ipolog 4 is a "software as a service" application. The current version is always executed as an application on the local computer. All data is stored centrally on a separate server for each customer in the ipolog data center. The delivery of the application usually takes place as a .msi-file.

Ports & URLs

To communicate with the server, the ipolog-client software requires access to the corresponding DNS, IPs and Ports. They have to be accessible out of the company network.

DNS:

Troubleshooting

If accessing https://plattform.ipolog.ai/ gives out the following error message, after configuring ipolog as described above, it could be mandatory to set up a proxy:
