Background
ipolog 4 Material Flow is a "Software as a Service" application. The current version is always executed as an application on the local computer. All data is stored centrally on a separate server for each customer in the ipolog data center. The delivery of the application usually takes place as msi.
Ports & URLs
To store data on the customer server, ipolog requires access to the corresponding server URL. This will be sent to you by your ipolog contact person.
This URL must therefore be accessible from the client in the company network.
The following ports are required for the encrypted connection:
Port 443 | https |
Proxy
ipolog 4 Material Flow currently supports Proxy basic auth.
The support of further proxy authentication methods is planned.
ipolog requires the IP, port and authentication method of the proxy to set up the access.
This is how you identify your Proxy.
The user can then enter the proxy in the IPO.Cloud at https://help.ipolog.de/hc/en-us/articles/360019922194-Configure-IPO-Cloud-Setup-Proxy
Checklist
No. | Task |
1. | Activate URL (depending on firewall) |
2. | Check ports and activate if necessary |
Your users will then receive the corresponding ipolog version with the corresponding link for the IPO.Cloud.
