The project structure in the portal has changed with version 4.5.0. The projects now form the top level, and the scenarios, which in turn contain planning spaces, are organized directly below them. This means that the same resources (Racks, Boxes and Part Data) can be utilized in planning spaces by both ipolog 4 Workspace and ipolog 4 Material Flow. This enables full planning of material flow, material provision and assembly and transportation processes in unison with your colleagues.
Please note: The previous project structure and the projects in it are retained and can be reinstated via “Show user info” > “Switch to v2 scenario structure”. You can find out how to migrate the scenarios from the previous project structure to the current one here.
The v3 project structure is organized as follows:
| 1 | Page navigation | Shows/hides the sidebar. Select the “House”-symbol to navigate to the system overview. |
| 2 | User information | Displays the options relating to your account: Manage license, reset user preferences, adjust language, the option to switch to the old v2 project structure and the option to contact support. |
| 3 | Project actions | Displays the options relating to your project: Edit project, manage user authorizations, archive project, delete project. |
| 4 | Scenario actions | “Rulesets” opens an overview in which you can specify which part data should be imported into the desired planning spaces; “Refresh” updates the view; “Create scenario” creates a new scenario according to your specifications. |
| 5 | Scenario status | The scenarios in your project are sorted by status here. “Active” means that these scenarios are in use and up to date. Templates for scenarios are organized under “Template”. “Archived” contains archived (NOT deleted!) scenarios. These can be restored. “Deleted” includes all scenarios that have been deleted. |
| 6 | Side bar | The sidebar displays the projects available in the system and the scenarios contained in them directly below. Projects and scenarios can be favorited by clicking on the “Star”-symbol, KPI and Common Data can be displayed for the respective project and projects can be filtered. |
| 7 | Filter | Filters can be used to customize the list view of your scenarios. You can filter according to various attributes, such as name, creator or description. |
| 8 | Group attributes |
Column headers can be drag and dropped here, in order to group part data for the corresponding attribute. You can group every column header / attribute - e.g. "Creator". The newly created column "Group" now lists part data sorted together by their creator. The number in parenthesis' behind the creators name is the amount of Log-IDs which have been grouped. Selecting the "Arrow"-symbol opens the detail view for this row. |
| 9 | Table |
The scenarios currently available in the project overview are displayed here, with applied filters. A single right-click opens the options for the respective scenario. A single left-click on a column title sorts the scenarios according to the respective attribute - first in ascending order and then in descending order with a second click. Hold down the left mouse button and drag a column header to another position to adjust the sorting. A single click with the left mouse button on the "three dots"-symbol opens additional options: The first two options “Sort ascending” and “Sort descending” also allow you to sort your column in ascending or descending order. With “Pin column” you can pin a column to the left or right of the editing area - the column then stays in place on the screen as you scroll. With “Autosize this/all columns”, you can automatically adjust the column width of the currently selected column or all columns. “Group by Log ID Name” groups the part data according to their Log-ID and “Choose/Reset Columns” allows you to show or hide individual columns and reset the overall view - similar to the “Columns” feature itself. The column width can be adjusted by clicking on the separator line between columns and moving the line to the left and right with the mouse. Clicking on the “x” symbol next to the column names resets the corresponding column to its original width. |
| 10 | Options |
A singular right-click on a scenario opens the options.
In the options, the path to the respective scenario can be copied to the clipboard, just as individual scenarios themselves can be copied. Via “Edit” you can adjust the name, the linked common data or the material mapping of the respective scenario.
Scenarios can also be archived, deleted or frozen. If a scenario is frozen, it cannot be edited.
Scenarios can also be used as “templates”. These scenarios are then stored under the “Templates” [5] tab. |
| 11 | Columns |
"Columns" enables you to hide/show individual columns by selecting the check mark next to it. Via the filter on the top of the columns window ("Search...") it is possible to search for the columns by name. |
