Requirements for ipolog 4 Material Flow

• Operating systems: (with latest service pack & fully installed Windows updates):
  • Windows 11 64-Bit
  • Windows 10 64-Bit
• The minimum requirements for the computer are:
  • CPU: at least dual-core-CPU, recommended quad-core-CPU 2.5 GHz
  • RAM: recommended minimum 16 GB
• Graphics card
  • Dedicated GPU with at least 1 GB (4 GB recommended) of dedicated video memory, supporting desktop OpenGL 2.1 or higher
  • For ipolog Factory Viewer: a GPU supporting DirectX 11 with Feature Level 11.0 and Shader Model 5.0, or DirectX 12
  • Recommended: NVIDIA RTX A-series / RTX Ada (formerly Quadro)
  • Integrated graphics chips (Intel UHD, Intel Iris, Intel Arc, AMD Radeon Graphics) do not meet this requirement. They provide only a small amount of dedicated video memory and share the system's main memory.
• Graphics driver
  • A vendor driver must be installed — the NVIDIA Studio driver, or the driver provided by your notebook manufacturer (HP, Dell, Lenovo, …). The generic driver delivered through Windows Update is not supported.
  • Keep the driver up to date. Graphics drivers older than approximately 12 months are a common cause of crashes and display errors.
  • Notebooks with switchable graphics (NVIDIA Optimus / AMD Switchable): ipolog must be assigned to the dedicated GPU — NVIDIA Control Panel → "High-performance NVIDIA processor", or Windows Graphics settings → "High performance". Please set this for both ipolog_4_MF.exe and the ipolog Factory Viewer.
  • On systems with two GPUs, the integrated and the dedicated graphics driver should both be at the version released by your device manufacturer.
