As of version 2019-06, template projects can be defined in IPO.Log.
A template project is a project that can be used as a basis for other projects. Technically, this is a project copy that is made at the beginning of project creation.
The template project contains all information and data that the creator of the template has defined. These are e.g. standard supply chains, processes, layout information or quantity structures.
If the planner only wants to define processes as templates, he can create a new project and only define processes.
Benefits of the template
Template projects are available to all users of the server.
When creating a new project, he can now choose between an empty project and a template project.
Create & edit templates
Every user can define a current project as a template. To do this, he edits the project as a template using the edit button.
Note: A template is automatically a frozen project and can no longer be opened or edited. If the template is to be edited, it can be deselected again as a template.
