One principle of ipolog 4 is the rack-based placement of load carriers. The focus here is on proximity to the installation site and the shortest worker routes. From the available material data, ipolog 4 automatically calculates and optimizes the container placement within the racks.
The Rack Planogram filters out the material view from a huge information quantity and shows you which material is stored where in the rack. This allows you to individually plan and optimize the material placement of a station.
At first, this view is empty. Select the rack or a material area directly in the layout by clicking on it and it will show up in the Rack Planogram window, as shown in the screenshot below. You can add multiple areas or racks by clicking CTRL.
You can easily drag and drop containers within a rack, to another rack, or across station areas. Just drag and drop the desired container into the appropriate shelf with the left mouse button pushed down.
If a container has to be moved from one shelf to another, which is located on a different station area, the corresponding racks or station areas must first be chosen with CTRL + left click.
It is also possible to rotate the boxes, see diagram (1). Via the button "Push box groups together - left side" all boxes are placed on the left or right side, see graphic (2). This step ensures that all boxes are positioned exactly next to each other and that the available space is used optimally.
