Select "Common Data" in the side bar:
Here the common data - including part data - can be managed:
The existing planning states are displayed under the corresponding resource (Boxes, Racks, Part Data). Select the "three dots"-symbol to edit an existing planning state.
Planning states are linked to every planning space in the same scenario, as long as the planning state is linked to the scenario first.
Part Data Editor
Via the Part Data Editor you can edit individual Part Data entries, add additional Part Data and edit multiple Part Data entries at once.
1a. Manually adding Part Data
Choose the desired planning state and select "Create new data set" in the top right corner of the part data overview:
1b. Editing part data
Select an existing part data entry via right-click and select "Edit", to edit the entry:
2. A window opens, in which the new entry or the existing entry can be edited:
1 Entry title: Here you can change the entry title by selecting the "three dots"-symbol and then "edit name".
2 Options: Here you can find the undo/redo-function. Select the arrow left to undo the last change you made and the arrow right to restore the last undone change. The smaller arrows next to the arrow left and arrow right open the change history. Left-click on "Save" to save the edited entry and add it to your part data. Left-clicking the "x"-symbol closes the part data editor.
3 Stage display: There are three stages to part data entries, which are displayed on the left side of the editor: "Log ID", "Part Data" and "Material area information". The current stage is colored blue. Selecting a stage jumps to the corresponding place in the editor.
4 Editing area: Here the data for the respective entry can be entered. In that, it is generally distinguished between a Normal part and a sequence.
3. Editing multiple entries at once
To edit multiple entries in your part data, first select the desired entries via the checkbox and then "edit":
In the editor it is now possible to edit every selected entry at the same time. For that, first select the attribute you'd like to edit and then enter your value on the right side. Additonally, multiple values can be cleared at once ("Clear value") or reset to the original value, if they were changed accidentally ("Reset to first value"):
Deleting part data
To delete an entry from your part data, select the desired entry via right-click and then left-click on "delete":
Special data fields
When creating or editing part data please note the following special data fields:
Predecessor-ID
When creating or editing a Log-ID, you can use the Predecessor-ID to store the data of the predecessor part and show this in your provision planning. In order to do this, first select a Log-ID that you want to store [2] - this is then saved under [1] - and then select “Load data” [3]. If you want to adopt the stage parameters (box matrix, material area, etc.) of the predecessor part for the current Log-ID, select the “Take all stage parameters from predecessor” checkbox. Please note: To be able to add a Predecessor-ID, the predecessor part must be stored in the part data.
Product allocation
Here you can assign a part to a product or delete it from the product [1], if that hasn't happened yet. The products may also be manually added products, that weren't in the original import-file. Additonally the number of parts [2], as well as the assembly rate [3] can be stored.
Log-ID Combiner
By using the Log-ID combiner, you can combine multiple Log-IDs into a single one. First select at least two Log-IDs via checkbox and then select "combine":
A window opens, in which you can adjust the sequence of Log-IDs by drag and drop:
Adjusting the order can be necessary to maintain the material flow if the combined Log-IDs pass through different stages. Then select “Next” to continue or “Cancel” to end the process.
Finally, you can check the Log-IDs again and use one of them as the base:
This means that the “base” Log-ID takes over all the parameters of the other Log-IDs - except for the stage parameters. In effect, all Log-IDs are combined into the “Base”. Finally, select “Check data consistency” and then “Combine Log-IDs” to combine the Log-IDs.
